In an interview on March 17th, 2021, U.S. President Joe Biden labelled Russian President Vladimir Putin a "killer." From a Russian learner's perspective, Putin's subsequent response to Biden's comment makes for an excellent language learning opportunity. Largely incorrect translations of Putin's statements have circled around Western media, particularly of the Russian idiom, кто как обзывается, тот так и называется.
