Describing the weather
хорошая погода = good weather
плохая погода = bad weather
прекрасная погода = beautiful weather
солнечная погода = sunny weather
скверная погода = miserable weather

тепло = it’s warm

- льёт как из ведра = it's pouring like from a bucket
- дождь льет как из ведра = it's raining like from a bucket
- отморозить нос = to freeze your nose off
- зуб на зуб не попадает = our teeth would be chattering
- холод, хоть волков морозь = you can freeze wolves
- холод не терпит голод = hunger makes the cold worse
